Those big clunky axle brackets on the tci kit seem hokey to me. but i have the same opinion of most bolt on style kits for anything. there's almost always some big elaborate brackets somewhere to avoid welding. and on a vehicle that spends time outdoors, that's a lot of nooks and crannies to collect moisture and debris. On most of my trucks i use transport wheels which are 22x9 with 6 inch backspacing. this is a great backspacing for 1st and 2nd gen c10s because it allows us to tuck nicely when bagged. one thing to note, on the rear of stepsides, a transport wheel needs an inch spacer to center the wheel in the tub.
