Arthur wiener, our founder, has become a fan, acquiring several stunning new pieces for the wiener museum of decorative arts collection. the expanded carved in glass exhibition at wmoda features over 20 vividly colored, deep carved glass vessels by the ferros — including new arrivals from murano.

The newly located wmoda in hollywood is even larger and more beautiful than when in the previous location. the museum director, louise, has created an inspiring and gorgeous series of spaces that could not be lovelier. We went to this lovely museum which tremendously exceeded our expectations. they have two floors which display a wide variety of glasswork and ceramics, both modern and antique. The highlight of the hot glass gallery is a spectacular collection of dale chihuly. contemporary ceramic art from the ardmore studio in south africa is one of the favorite exhibits at the wiener museum. the museum will also host a wide variety of programs and cultural events. Stepping into wmoda is like embarking on a meticulously curated journey through centuries of human ingenuity and artistic expression. what truly impresses me, and what i believe makes wmoda such an indispensable part of fort lauderdale’s cultural fabric, is the depth and breadth of its collections.
