Around 10:37 p.m. tonight, riverside police officers came across a shooting in progress near the intersection of iowa avenue and blaine street. two adult victims were struck by gunfire from the suspects. the victims are at a local hospital in stable condition. an officer involved shooting occurred and the suspects were safely detained. Personnel from the riverside fire department responded and began medical aid; however, both individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene. detectives from the robbery homicide unit are currently on scene investigating.
